This song is called “16,” and it’s from an almost 11-year-old album by a now defunct band called Monty Love. My friend Jay Miller is the guy singing.
I had a ridiculous amount of fun watching them play live; I still have a lot of fun whenever I hear this song. I’ve ripped it and uploaded it so that it can live here, because I think I’ve probably Googled “monty love 16” about 10,000 times in the past few years when the mood to listen has struck me, and I’ve never found it online. Now I’ll know where to get it. (Also, maybe you too will find it a fun way to spend 100 seconds or so.)
This has been Boring Explanation Theatre. I’m Dan Devine. ‘Til next time.
